Chicken wings are great for all sorts of occasions. These baked, flavoursome wings couldn’t be easier to rustle up and make a wonderful appetiser or snack. Provide finger bowls and lots of napkins for sticky fingers though!
Zest and juice the lime. Peel and crush the garlic. Wash, deseed and finely chop the chilli. Peel and grate the ginger.
Mix the lime juice, zest, garlic, chilli and ginger with the soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of honey. Put the chicken wings in a large glass or china bowl and pour the mixture over. Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
PRE-HEAT THE OVEN TO 200˚C/180˚C FAN/GAS 6
Transfer the chicken wings and marinade to a roasting tin and roast for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Drizzle over the remaining tablespoon of honey and cook for another 5 minutes or until the edges are beginning to char.
